Delivering nearly ten times the quality of existing videoconferencing systems (which are limited to 352 x 288 pixels), LifeSize Express users will have a completely new experience in face-to-face video communication.

The LifeSize Express is ideal for both enterprises expanding and upgrading their video conference systems and for new users just beginning to realize the benefits of videoconferencing.

It's sleek design allows the LifeSize Express to extend videoconferencing beyond the board room.

The LifeSize Express is ideal for executive offices, remote and home locations and smaller conference rooms. The LifeSize Express may also be used with portable cart-based applications.

Utilizing high definition video resolution (1280 x 720 pixels at 30 frames per second), LifeSize Express makes participants appear true-to-size.

With advanced processing capabilities, LifeSize Express provides better video at any bandwidth including high definition resolution at 1Mbps, DVD quality at 512Kbps and Cable TV quality at 384Kbps.

LifeSize Express offers support for a single HD monitor and a single high definition fixed Focus camera or a  LifeSize Camera with PTZ, a wide-angle 4x Optical zoom and 70 degree field of view. It can utilize a LifeSize MicPod or it may be combined with a LifeSize Phone.

This LifeSize Express configuration includes the LifeSize Camera and a LifeSize MicPod.

First introduced with LifeSize Room, LifeSize Camera is compatible with all LifeSize codecs.

Providing video resolution support up to 1280 x 720p at 30 frames per second, the LifeSize Camera features a wide angle lens with a 70 degree field of view and a 4x optical zoom.

Pan, tilt and zoom functions on the LifeSize Camera can be controlled easily by both ends of the call through the intuitive LifeSize Remote Control.

The LifeSize Camera is a powerful, yet simple plug and play solution that delivers an optimal video communication experience and was designed entirely by LifeSize for its high definition video communications solutions.

Because the LifeSize Camera does not have an integrated microphone, a separate LifeSize MicPod will be required.

The LifeSize MicPod is an easy-to-use microphone designed to deliver a lifelike, high definition audio experience during a video call.

It features a single omni-directional high definition active microphone, mute button and call status/mute indication lights.

The LifeSize MicPod is powered by the codec directly through a 7.5 m / 25 ft. combined audio and power cable, allowing for optimal microphone placement and coverage and is best suited for small and mid-size rooms.
