Question #2 What requirements need to be met to use the LifeSize Express 
Answer: The LifeSize Express high definition videoconferencing solution requires an HD monitor and either a LifeSize Focus camera or a LifeSize Camera (PTZ) with a separate LifeSize MicPod.

Question #3 What models are available in the LifeSize Express series?  
Answer: The Lifesize Express,  LifeSize Express 200 and LifeSize Express 220. All three systems are available with either a LifeSize Focus camera or a LifeSize Camera (PTZ) with a separate LifeSize MicPod. The LifeSize Express can only support a single HD display, but the LifeSize Express 200 and Express 220 can function with dual HD displays.

Question #4 What are the maximum dial speeds for the LifeSize Express and LifeSize Express 200?  
Answer: Up to 1Mbps via any Internet connection. Both these LifeSize Express units are capable of the following speeds and resolutions:

Answer: The LifeSize Express 220 is capable of the following speeds and resolutions:
* 128Kbps (400×244 pixels) widescreen FCIF
* 384Kbps (912×512 pixels) Cable TV
* 512Kbps (1024×576 pixels) DVD resolution
* 768Kbps (1280×720 pixels) High Definition
* 1.1Mbps (1280×720 pixels @p60) High Definition
* 1.7Mbps or higher (1920×1080 pixels) High Definition

Question #5 Where are some other key differences with the LifeSize Express 220?  
Answer: The LifeSize Express 220 is capable of 1080p30 and 720p60 encoding and decoding as well as dual 720p30 encoding/decoding and is capable of 4Mbps total bandwidth throughput. This delivers full high definition, like the other LifeSize 220 video systems.

Additionally, the LifeSize Camera port has been removed. It has been replaced with an “HD Video In” port. This change is to facilitate the LifeSize Camera 200. Also, a USB port has been added directly above the HD Video In port. This port is reserved for future applications and provides consistency across all LifeSize 220 video systems.

Like other LifeSize 220 systems, the LifeSize Express 220 can support dual HD video streams. This allows two full motion video sources; for example, the primary HD video camera and a second HD camera, DVR or PC can be transmitted at 720p30.

Answer: LifeSize Express series systems are lower end systems in the LifeSize series of high definition videoconferencing solutions.

Answer: LifeSize Express series sysems cannot host multi-point calls, however they can participate in ones hosted elsewhere.

Answer: LifeSize Express series systems are ideal for executive offices, remote and home offices, and smaller conference rooms, as well as portable cart-based applications.
