Microsoft Teams Ready Kits For Any Size Space
Poly’s partnership with Microsoft continues to produce great results, and this time it comes in the form of updated Microsoft Teams Rooms kits. Poly’s existing MTR solution, the Poly G-Series, is being discontinued so Poly can update to the latest and greatest it has to offer. But what does this update mean for you?
The biggest change that comes with this update is the changes to the paired cameras. The bundles will no longer include the Cube and Director II. Instead, the MTR kits will benefit from the newer Studio P15 and Studio E70. The small and medium room bundle will still include the Studio USB. The shift to newer cameras means that the new MTR kits can take full advantage of Poly’s impressive DirectorAI technology.
DirectorAI uses machine learning to create a seamless meeting experience that adapts to the number of meeting participants and their position in the room. By properly identifying the participants and their position, DirectorAI frames all meeting participants and individual speakers using group frame, speaker tracking, and conversation mode. This provides a clean flow to the meeting so all participants, in-office or remote, feel like they all have equal visibility in the meeting. The update to newer cameras is a welcome one, and you’ll feel the difference.
Poly’s other focus for the update is to provide a choice of PC. This added flexibility not only allows you and your organization to choose the PC that best fits your need, it also allows for the inclusion of newer PCs as the need arises. Both of the PC choices are certified for MTR on Windows and are pre-imaged for Poly MTR on Windows 10 IoT.
